Founded on April 9th, 1959, Prospect Lodge No. 7618 was consecrated at Freemasons’ Hall in London, with 16 founding members drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. Sponsored by Aarhus Lodge No. 6854, the Lodge was born out of a vision to advance Freemasonry through fraternal service and support, with a unique balance of members from various communities.

The Lodge has evolved with the times, moving from its original meeting place at the Bridge House Restaurant to the Kingsley Hotel, and finally to Freemasons’ Hall in 1988, where it continues to meet. Over the decades, Prospect Lodge has initiated, nurtured, and welcomed members from a wide range of professions, contributing to both Masonic and non-Masonic charitable causes.

Today, the Lodge retains its commitment to tradition, ritual excellence, and fellowship, hosting regular meetings and festive gatherings in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. It welcomes visiting and prospective members who share its values of unity and service.
